I thought that creating a blog would be the best way to stay in touch with everyone while I was in Africa. As my brother is trying to get to bed, I am trying to get this first post out. I catch my flight tomorrow night, 22:30 EST. JFK is close to home, so it won't be too bad getting there. Family is moving while I am gone, so I won't be coming to home to the same room or house, and therefore must not only pack for my trip, but pack for the actual move from here. Busy!!!
I plan to update this blog in Africa with some pictures. I won't be taking my laptop due to baggage limitations, so the blogs might be short and few.
Pray for me while I am in the midst of traveling! I have a great family "hosting" me for my 7 weeks in country. I trust God will take care of the details, as there have been many to plan.
